Libra 2nd House
Lesson 10 Chapter 2 Module 2
Air:
The second house ruled by an Air sign signifies you must begin with your mindset, communication, and mental energy. Being too lost in your own thoughts that you can’t seize opportunities will thwart your efforts. Restlessness, Anxiety, and poor self-talk is to be watched out for. Instead attract your wealth through quick thinking, communicating your needs and desires, staying present in your body, and not overthinking your actions!!
Cardinal:
You attract money through your ability to jump in, take risks, and pioneer new things. You have to take the lead and be willing to stretch outside of your comfort zone to reach new levels of magnetism and abundance.
Libra on 2nd House
The emphasis with Libra on the cusp of your 2nd house is the focus on creating balance with your possessions. The priority is on having both beautiful and inspiring possessions, while being able to give back and share your wealth. A balanced budget is really key that focuses on long term security, things for you, and things + experiences that you can share with others.
$$ Superpower:
Understanding the value of an experience or possession based on how it brings others together to have a shared experience. From the artistic and beautiful pieces that inspire the masses, to simple dish-wares that elevate the communal experience. Your superpower is knowing the value of bringing us all together and deepening connections.
Magnetize yourself:
By making room in your budget to give back to those around you, from picking up the tab at dinner to that beautiful and elegant dish set that you need a set of 12 of to entertain in your home. Making sure you always have room to share, extra chairs, and the creative energy to elevate a moment to refine it and make it more beautiful. Creating an aesthetically pleasing space and style is also key to your feelings of abundance.
Be wary of:
Oversharing. You can only give back once your needs (and some of your wants) are met. Overextending your generosity in a way that means you have to do without will be detrimental to your material wealth as well as your emotional/spiritual health in the long run. Be careful of paying full price for beautiful things. You don’t need the “genuine” article and the luxury branding. You can find beautiful possessions at much lower cost by not buying the brand, but the beauty.
Practical but not exhaustive list:

Venus as 2nd House Ruler
Priority:
When Venus is the ruler of your 2nd house the priority is on accumulating possessions and wealth in a way that brings pleasure, enjoyment, beauty, and connection to yourself and others. You desire to bring in wealth in a way that both supports + comes from your personal values. Venus as the ruler almost always means money is coming in from relationships either with yourself and others or the relationship that occurs for example between a client and a piece of art (or other object). When you can work in an artful, pleasure filled way, that brings enjoyment to yourself and others you are best magnetized to money. You must be appreciated and regularly told so in your work.
The Worst Places:
Work that doesn’t fit your personal values. Dull, boring, unrefined environments that are scripted and cold. When you can’t beautify the space you work in or help to improve working relationships (between co-workers, clients, or through improving the custom experience) you can feel thwarted. Places where no one appreciates you, your work, or each other. Conflict riddled spaces where you can’t do anything to remedy it.
Activation:
Activate your magnetism first through your relationship with yourself, spending time to focus on your pleasure + self love. Speak kindly to yourself, treat yourself, and take time to refine your surroundings (especially in your workspace + home). Get comfortable receiving in personal + professional relationships by asking for specifics that you need (like words of affirmation). Spending time cultivating good working relationships with and nurturing client/customer relationships (going the extra mile) magnetizes you to money.
Do this:
Self worship, Prioritizing your pleasure, creating a sensually satisfying environment, working through any codependent behaviors, words of affirmation, spending time relationship building (personal + professional), getting clear on your personal values and how to align your actions + work in the world with them.
Avoid this:
Making your mood + energy dependent on how well all of your relationships are going (especially client relationships),giving away too much support without proper compensation (working overtime without pay, free services), Staying where you aren’t appreciated, Not enjoying at least half of the work that you do.Read Aspects to the House ruler for your natal Venus Aspects
